The white wolf Amaterasu, nicknamed Ammy, is the Goddess of the Sun, and Master of the Celestial Brush. After an incident, she has to descend to Earth with the evil demon Orochi to defeat him once the chosen one is born. After slaying the monster alongside the chosen swordsman, Nagi, she passes away. 100 years later, she is reincarnated to stop the recently brought back Orochi. Accompanied by the Celestial Envoy, Issun, Ammy vanquishes the beast beside Nagi's descendant, Susano. Now she must embark in a quest to regain her powers lost when she died, and bring back peace to the world.
Gameplay Tips
- Amaterasu's Down Special allows her to change between Reflector, Glaive and Rosary, altering her playstyle notably!
- The attacks for Amaterasu's Reflector are generally quick and has relatively short range compared to Glaive and Rosary.
- The attacks for Amaterasu's Glaive are rather strong, they can also be charged up to deal extra damage!
- The attacks for Amaterasu's Rosary has impressive range, but they have comparatively low kill power.
- Amaterasu's Side Special has the unique property of being usable even she performs other moves, very useful during combos!
- The explosives from Amaterasu's Neutral Special and Neutral EX can be pushed around with physical attacks. Use it to surprise your enemies!
- Amaterasu's Down Tilt is Dig, you can press the Attack button multiple times until she deals a hit that buries the enemy!
