Over the years, he has sport several abilities such as breathing fire, hurling hammers, and attacks from vehicles like the Koopa Clown Car. He often kidnaps Princess Peach, all in the hopes to forcefully marry her.
Gameplay Tips
- Charging Bowser's Forward Smash doesn't just increase how much damage the Megaton Punch does, but it also makes him slide farther forwards as well.
- Bowser's Down Throw buries opponents for a short time, allowing for easy confirms. Just don't try and do it again - it won't work.
- Bowser's King's Fireball (Neutral Special) is massive, and goes slow enough you can potentially chase and lock the opponent down.
- Bowser's EX Neutral Special is Flame Breath, but this time around it's a multihit spread attack that can catch recovering foes off guard, and lead into deadly finishers.
- Bowser's Flying Slam (Side Special) is one of the most damaging raw command grabs in the game. Use the EX version to rush forward with a very active hitbox!
- You can shimmy back and forth while Bowser is using Flying Slam with a caught opponent, and you can even slam on top of opponents for good measure.
- Bowser's Whirling Fortress (Up Special) is best used as an out-of-shield option, while EX Up Special is better for recovery! Mix up your timing and see what suits you.
- Using Bowser Bomb (Down Special) against an opponent's shield is ideal when they least expect it. Not to mention, if you time it correctly, they can Meteor foes!
- If you are just close enough to an edge, you can grab it while performing either version of Bowser Bomb. EX version allows you to manipulate where you fall, as well!
