Gameplay Tips
- Garboy's Neutral Special It's quite heavy, but if you hold down the button for a while you can make it hit reaaaally hard.
- Garboy's Down Tilt Holding the button down will make it shake its head, expelling a lot of small needles from its hair.
- Garboy's Up Special can change direction however you want, but it's too precise to do so; if you manage to master it, you can make good attacks with it.
- The Secret A+B Special can make you invisible for a few seconds or several hits; it's quite cheat for competitive play.
- You can leave several Spikes on the ground using the taunt in the air, Garboy has many interesting attacks up his sleeve... or fur.
- Garboy's Back Air has a small hitbox on its back; I usually use it to fire the spines forward instead of attacking from behind.
- Not Many Characters have a Special Edge; Garboy is one of those rare ones. It's slower but it goes at 3 different distances
- Unlike the Side tilt Needles, the Back Air Needles stuck to the opponent, causing them slight extra damage as if they were poisoned. This is because Garboy throws them with more force and they stuck in.
- Garboy's Side Special is based on the Stone + Spark ability in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards; it's like a flail.
