Sonic the Hedgehog
Metal Sonic is the robotic copy of Sonic created by Dr. Eggman to be his loyal servant. In Sonic CD, he kidnaps Amy and races Sonic in Stardust Speedway, where he is promptly beaten and blows up. In Sonic Heroes, he returns and uses his free will to overthrow Eggman and becomes the main antagonist himself, copying the data of all 4 teams to turn into Metal Overlord.
Gameplay Tips
- Metal Sonic's Down Special, Black Shield, can be jump cancelled on hit. It also reflects projectiles.
- Metal Sonic's Side Special, Overdrive Rush, can be aimed in the 8 cardinal directions, it's launch angle changing to match the angle he's going in.
- Metal Sonic's Down Tilt and Down Throw are slow, but bury opponents. Use these to setup a kill.
- Metal Sonic's Down Smash has a huge hitbox, but has low killpower.
- Metal Sonic has a hover. Use it to make Neutral Air or Neutral Special a bit easier to hit, but only hover after the attack, otherwise they'll end the hover early.

- The name of Metal Sonic's form in his Prism Shatter is Metal Overlord.
