Rocket may not look like a tech genius or an expert tactician, but anyone who's ever made his hit list has quickly regretted underestimating him. This savvy space soldier is equally eager to boost his teammates and to collect bounties on his foes.
Gameplay Tips
- Rocket's Neutral Special deals considerably more damage up close and is very good against shields.
- Rocket can fire shots and control his movement while rising upwards with his Up Special.
- Unlike most characters, Rocket's jab is a projectile attack and only deals knockback close to himself.
- If Rocket already placed down a mine with his Down Special then he will instead perform a weak slash with the move.
- Rocket's Forward Aerial propels him forward, allowing him to use the attack for mobility reasons as well.
Trivia
- Rocket is NOT a raccoon and calling him that might have dire consequences.
- The ship Rocket enters with in his regular entrance is The Milano, the ship of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
- Rocket employs various weaponry inspired by his numerous appearances and sometimes even from other Marvel characters.
- Rocket's name is a reference to Rocky Raccoon, the song from The Beatles.
- Rocket has an "elegant" way of words and relies on unique curse words such as "flark" and "scut" a lot.
