Stanley
Donkey Kong 3
Stanley is a bug exterminator from a Game & Watch game "Green House", where he uses his spray gun to defend his plants from inchworms and spiders. He more notably appears as the protagonist of Donkey Kong 3, where he fights Donkey Kong and several insects in greenhouses with a sprayer.
Gameplay Tips
- Stanley's Neutral Special can be charged to increase the poison cloud's size. Use them to rack up damage over time!
- Stanley's Side Special projectile leaves a small hitbox in the smoke's center if it doesn't hit. Careful not to trip on that one!
- Stanley's Down Special summons a bug that homes in on opponents, and you can chase it to ready up another attack. So retro...
- Stanley's Up Air and Up Strong have windboxes in them. They're fun to use, if you ever feel like messing around with an airborne enemy.
- Stanley's Side EX has him throw a beehive that traps the opponent inside on contact. You can hit it for extra damage before they break out!
- Stanley's Down EX summons a bug trio with better and more persistent homing properties compared to the Special variant. Watch out for those buggers!
Trivia
- Stanley is a gardener. One must wonder if he's green outside of the job.
