Yu Yu Hakusho
A spirit detective whose job is to protect the world of ghosts that disturb the peace in exchange for a second chance at life. However, being the delinquent he is he finds himself preferring brawls over using his head. Using energy he learns to tap into, he can perform blasts of light energy in the form of a "Spirit Gun" and "Spirit Shotgun" respectively.
Gameplay Tips
- Charging your Smash attacks for longer will cause Yusuke to use a little bit of spirit energy to enhance the move he's about to use.
- You can cancel Yusuke's upC early by attacking or jumping, if you attack, you gain full invincibility.
- Yusuke's sideB is Organ Murder, a dash hit followed by spirit charged rapid punches ending with a finishing blow.
- You can charge Yusuke's sideB/sideEX to enhance it and give it special follow ups.
- Yusuke is able to turn around during downB/downEX, doing so makes him do a little bit more damage.
- Yusuke's Neutral Special is Spirit Gun, his primary technique that he has to charge to reach full power.
Trivia
- Yusuke was quite the rebel, until he died. Ouch. But for his troubles & some good deeds, he returned as a energy firing Spirit Detective!
- Yu Yu Hakusho was written by Yoshihiro Togashi, the same person to later work on HunterXHunter for God knows how long.
- Yusuke's first name means "ghost helper" and his last name is a word that is said by dead spirits.
- Yusuke works as a Spirit Detective for Koenma, though his cases are few as he prefers dealing with problems with a fist fight.
- This is the 5th time Yusuke and Vegeta can throw down in a fighting game. Those two sure love to blast blue energy together.
- For his Prism Shatter, Yusuke turns into the powerful Mazoku, a demonic form he takes after his Dad.
