Akechi Gorou

Akechi

Persona 5

A public celebrity, touted by his fans and media as the second coming of the detective prince. He is investigating the mysterious Phantom Thieves of Hearts case sensationailizing Japan. He condemns the group, but he temporarily had to cooperate with them under the name Crow.

Gameplay Tips

  • Filling Akechi’s meter lets him enter Berserk, boosting normal attack speed, altering moves, and increasing Smash damage.
  • Akechi's NB: Gun attack with a hold follow-up. In Berserk, it auto-fires while held and the follow-up uses the attack button.
  • Akechi's Side B: Rekka combo ending with an upward slash or stab flurry. In Berserk, it becomes rapid slashes but can still end with the upward slash.
  • Akechi's Up B: Summons Loki to lift Akechi while spinning a sword. Berserk version has more height and faster frames.
  • Akechi's Down B: Tap to inflict Rage on hit (enemy takes more damage but deals more).
  • Akechi's Down B (Hold): Charge meter faster or manually activate Berserk when full. In Berserk, it instead uses the normal attack version.
