Senator Steven Armstrong is the final boss of the 2013 title, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance for both Raiden's main & Sam's DLC campaigns. While he may be more then willing to drive himself to victory in a Metal Gear EXCELSUS unit, its huge assault is a mercy compared to the man within.
Gameplay Tips
- Senator Armstrong has 3 taunts, which is quite the array! Down taunt in particular has a surprise in store if he can finish it too!
- Throwing a opponent forward with Senator Armstrong is usually a personal affair. If the enemy has enough damage however, the crowd goes wild!
- Want a quick way to send the opponent away? Armstrong's Neutral Special, Bursting Bomb's got you covered. Hate shields? Charge the move up to the max!
- Senator Armstrong's Side Special, Sock Mouth-It Crash, is unblockable whether hes running or tackling from the air. But the resulting throw does change between both!
- Senator Armstrong's Prism Shatter, 4th Of July Strike, makes fire pillars after punching the ground. Only the first launches, but they're still too hot to stand in!
Trivia
- Despite the former's eventual victory, neither Raiden nor Jetstream Sam alone could defeat the Senator. Imagine if Armstrong brought his own sword!
- Senator Armstrong's nanomachines can enhance physical abilities, massivly increase durability, and even re-attach severed limbs!
- Senator Armstrong's first name is actually Steven. No wonder why he has universal appeal.
- Senator Armstrong's shirtless apperance in Prism Cross matches his final phase as a boss. Mickey Mouse must've pushed him to his limit!
