Mr. "Ant" Tenna

Mr. "Ant" Tenna, the star of the show, the king of only, always groovy, never glooby, and the prophesied Lord of the Screens, is the head honcho of TV World and host of popular show TV Time, only in the dark world, however, as in the light world he is simply the television of the Dreemurr family, he has witnessed every major family event including the split of the family, and from the power of a dark fountain opened within the Dreemurr home became able to try to trap himself an audience so he can finally attain his former glory.
Gameplay Tips
- Tenna's Side B "Rimshot" can be launched in an upward or downward curve.
- Tenna's Down C produces a hitbox that reaches from the top of the screen all the way to the bottom.
- Tenna's ledge attack launches him a long distance forward, and becomes able to move almost as soon as he lands on stage.
- On the falling portion of Tenna's upb, hitting an opponent can cause them to be buried.
Trivia
- Tenna was originally intended to have four arms, as he was based on being an ant.
- In development, Tenna was supposed to be rotoscoped using movements recorded with an Xbox Kinect.
- Tenna's appearance in DELTARUNE was teased 3 years prior to the release of Chapter 3 in the Spamton Sweepstakes, a charity auction event held by Toby Fox and Fangamer.
- Tenna's 7th alt references parody fan character "Mr. Ned Flicks", Tenna's rival from TV college.
- Tenna's name was based on the username of one of Toby Fox's collaborators during the time he composed music for the webcomic "Homestuck."
