Eous is a unique, modified Bangboo that serves as a specialized avatar and "hacker" companion for Belle and Wise to safely explore Hollows. Modified by Carole Arna, it is a distinct remote-controlled proxy to allow the siblings to interact with dangerous areas without being physically present. Eous is capable of data transfer via the Hollow Deep Dive system. Unlike other generic Bangboo, Eous is sentient, and possesses a nervous yet inquisitive personality. Eous was also given as a gift with significant sentimental value.
Gameplay Tips
- You can hold Eous Up Special on the ground, he will spin even more while doing so!
- The landing lag of Eous Side Special will be greatly reduced if you keep holding forward, making it possible to do all sort of things.
- You can aim Eous Down Special while holding the special button, you can also leave the move by pressing shield.
- The bomb from Eous Down EX can be knocked around with various attacks.

- Bangboo are mass produced robot companions made by the Marcel Group, they range from huge variety of designs and utility.
- Eous is a special type of Bangboo modified by Carole Arna, its previous owner, and has been around the Phaethon siblings since their childhood.
- Eous hammer attacks are based on the attacks he does in the Marcel Maze mode.
- Eous isn't the only Bangboo that lives with Phaethon, he shares the place with 18 and 6 too!
- Phaethon can use Eous to freely explore the Hollows thanks to their eye implants, technology no one else in New Eridu has access to.
