Tepig
Pokémon Black and White
Tepig, the Fire Pig Pokemon. Normally, fire shoots out of Tepig's snout, but it shoots out smoke instead when it is feeling ill. It loves to eat roasted berries, but sometimes it gets too excited and burns them to a crisp.
Gameplay Tips
- Tepig's Up Special and Up Ex makes him fall downwards in the second half of it. Be careful not to fall into the bottom Blast Zone with it.
- Tepig's Side Special, Flame Charge leaves trails of fire on the ground which allow him to do some extra damage against careless opponents.
- During Tepig's Prism Shatter if you press the Special button after the first few spins you can end the move earlier.
Trivia
- Tepig's evolution line was inspired by Chinese Mythology and historical figures.
- Ash's Tepig took the longest time to evolve out of all of his Pokémon in the Black & White series.
