Gameplay Tips

• His Forward Air, the Tornado Kick, is a rapid collection of kicks. If you land while you're still swinging, the opponent will be popped up for further combos.
• His Up Air is a two part attack that Fox kicks up, then swats them with his tail. Dubbed the McCloud Flip, it's a great launching finisher, if finnicky!
• His Blaster (Neutral Special) fires quickly and it's shots go a long way, but foes don't get flinched on hit. It's best to use this for pressure from afar.
• Hyper Blaster (Neutral EX) fires multiple shots that stun the opponent. Use this to your advantage if you're close enough!
• Fox Illusion (Side Special) sees Fox shoot forward so fast that afterimages come out. It will halt on a shielded opponent, or by pressing Special again.
• Tool Assisted Illusion (Side EX) activates on contact, rushing the opponent rapidly in after images before launching them away.
• Fire Fox (Up Special) has Fox charge in flames before rising in any of the eight compass directions. After that, he's left vulnerable, so be careful!
• Fire Fox usually is a pretty predictable kill tool with a big weakness, but Furious Fire Fox (Up EX) allows him to fly away farther and be able to act!
• Reflector (Down Special) can be held to reflect projectiles until it eventually breaks. You can also use this offensively and for movement.
• While you can use the regular Shine for combos and jump cancels, the Super Shine (Down EX) has Fox get empowered by energy for an even stronger launch!
• Landmaster (Prism Shatter) has Fox go into a hyper combat vehicle and fire at the opponent from within! Can fly upward, fire lasers or even Barrel Roll!
