Claude Frollo

Claude Frollo

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

He is portrayed as the powerful and fanatically religious Minister of Justice whose public piety masks a cruel, bigoted heart. He becomes the begrudged caretaker of the deformed Quasimodo after ruthlessly killing his mother and keeps him locked in the bell tower to avoid public humiliation. Frollo has an intolerance of the Romani people, calling them the worst kinds of sinners and therefore dedicates his whole life trying to purge their race. When he falls for Esmeralda, however, he burns down all of Paris to either have her or burn her.

Gameplay Tips

  • You can angle the fireball that Frollo launches during his Neutral B/EX.
  • Frollo's Side Special allows him to perform a fiery dash that hits the opponent once. His Side EX, on the other hand, is a multi-hit attack.
  • Frollo's Down Special summons a mook who stuns enemies. His Down EX, on the other hand, allows him to summon an archer.

Trivia

  • Frollo is considered to be one of the darkest of all of Disney's villains.
  • In some way or another Frollo represents every single one of the seven deadly sins.
  • Frollo's song, "Hellfire", is intended to contrast with the song "Heaven's Light" sung by Quasimodo.
