Kanade Tachibana
Angel Beats!
A teenager with not a lot of visible emotion, Kanade is a rather intelligent person. Making good use of what is known as the Angel Player program, allowing her to create weapons and giving herself defense mechanisms. Leading many to believe her to be a real angel sent in by God. Not much is known right away of her past, but it appears as if the world has caused her to remain cautious with showing a lot of emotion. Only able to open up again when a boy approaches her in hopes of stopping a long-lasting war Kanade was part of against the SSS, which was an "anti-Angel" group set out to lure God by getting rid of Kanade.
Gameplay Tips
- Kanade's Neutral Special is "Delay". A counter move that momentarily freezes the opponent and puts Kanade behind them.
- With Kanade's Side Special, you can input Side, Up or Down to perform a different action during her third attack.
- Kanade's Up Special is "Angel Wings". She sprouts wings from her back and jumps high through the air. There's a brief window of intangibility during her jump.
- Kanade's Down Special is "Howling". Emits powerful high-frequency, high-amplitude sound-waves that can quickly break shields and destroy projectiles.
- Kanade's Prism Shatter is "Harmonics". Creates a clone of herself that stays on battlefield for about 15 seconds. The clone is completely invincible.
Trivia
- Kanade's main skill, "Hand Sonic", has many variations; five of which can be seen in a normal match, with one of them only being used passively...
- Due to Kanade's main use of the Angel Player program, people mistook her of being a genuine angel. Which led to her getting nicknamed "Angel".
