Morgana

Morgana

Persona 5

Morgana is a character from the Persona series. Morgana has the following moveset:
  • Morgana can aim his slingshot in multiple directions and on the ground he can dodge by pressing the movement button the opposite way you are facing.
  • Morgana's slingshot can be charged with the attack button if he hasn't fired any shots yet. Once he did the option to charge it becomes impossible, but tapping the special button quickly enough after each shot will make him go into the aiming state again up until he fires five times.
  • While Morgana's Garudyne is active his Side Special cycles randomly between Garu and Dormin Rush. The latter has a chance to put the opponent to sleep.
  • Morgana's Getup Attack is able to move forward and backward until the last slash.
  • Morgana's Down Special and Down Ex have a weaker and stronger variant. The strength of the move is decided randomly.
  • If Morgana shoots through an active Garudyne with his slingshot then the pachinko shots will become faster.
  • If the attack button is held during the Neutral Aerial Morgana will keep spinning. He can also cancel the move into his other aerials if he lands a successful hit.
  • Morgana is not a cat.
  • Morgana's code name as a Phantom Thief is Mona.
  • Morgana's ability to transform into a car is a reference to My Neighbour Totoro.
  • Morgana is known to take up the transformation poses of Kamen Rider Ichigo when he sometimes transforms into a car and after he finishes his Showtime attack in Royal. He also yells "Henshin!" when transforming into a car, which is associated heavily with Kamen Riders.
  • When using the Shadow Mona palette the other Phantom Thieves that appear in Morgana's All-Out Attack will resemble their respective Shadow counterparts.
  • Morgana is the only Phantom Thief whose mask doesn't vanish when summoning his Persona.
  • Morgana serves as a mentor and instructor for the Phantom Thieves.
  • Morgana took up the role of a drill sergeant prior to the release of Persona 5 Tactica to explain the game's mechanics.
  • Morgana appears in multiple collabs, one of them being in Super Monkey Ball.
