Aigis
Persona 3
Aigis is an Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon hailing from Persona 3. She was manufactured in the year 1999 with the primary objective of battling Shadows, and she wields the Persona known as Athena, who is named after the Greek goddess of wisdom. In 2009, Aigis became a member of S.E.E.S. and helped them successfully eliminate both numerous shadows and the Dark Hour. Thoughout this mission, she found herself gravitated towards the group's leader for unknown reasons...
Gameplay Tips
- Be careful with the second part of Aigis' jab while on the edge of the stage or a platform. You may end up hanging onto the ledge!
- Aigis' Neutral EX can deal a lot of damage to shields, on top of its ability to knock opponents away.
- Aigis' Side EX goes farther than her Side Special, and also has slightly more knockback.
- When you see Aigis flash yellow for a little bit in her Up Special, that means you can cancel out of it into any attack. You can even cancel into Up EX!
- While Aigis' Up EX lacks the mobility of her Up Special, it can be used to quickly get away from an opponent.
- If you hold down the special button during Aigis' Down Special, the grenade will be able to go much further than the normal version.
- The grenades in Aigis' Down EX don't do as much damage or knockback as Down Special, but cover a large area in front of her.
Trivia
- Aigis' "headphones" are based on the Antikythera mechanism, an Ancient Greek analogue computer that was used for astronomy back in the 2nd century BC.
