Iori Yagami
The King of Fighters 95
Iori participates in his first tournament and his first appearance is KOF 95, teaming up with Billy Kane and Eiji Kisaragi as the rival team, or also as Team Yagami, but lost the tournament to Team Heroes, or also as Team Japan, Kyo Kusanagi, the protagonist of the Orochi Saga and Iori's great hatred towards Kyo, his power and his blue flames, has the blood of Orochi, which manifests itself as the "Blood Riot". This state makes Iori wild and violent.
Gameplay Tips
- Iori's toolkit allows his normals to be cancelled into specials and/or EX moves. His Down EX (HD Mode) further amplifies his combo potential.
- Iori has 2 Prism Shatters, the second which can be used via holding the Up button before activating the move.
Trivia
- Iori's profiles tend to confirm that he despises violence, despite his behavior. It's possible his definition of it involves hurting the weak and helpless.
- In media unrelated to KOF's main story, Iori is shown to like cats a lot, which may be a nod to a piece of promotional artwork for KOF '97.
